MeterBack provides independent AI and SaaS spend-recovery and cost-review services.
To perform a Recovery Snapshot or audit, a customer may provide:
Customers should not provide passwords, API keys, private keys, authentication secrets, unrelated personal records, source code, or customer content unless specifically agreed and necessary.
We use submitted information only to:
MeterBack requests only the information reasonably required for the relevant audit.
Where personal identifiers are required for licence reconciliation, customers may use internal IDs or redacted identifiers where practical.
MeterBack may use AI systems to extract, compare, classify and analyse submitted material. Material findings are subject to deterministic calculation and/or independent review before being presented as proven financial value.
Customer information is not sold.
Information may be processed by service providers required to deliver the service, such as cloud storage, email, AI processing or document-processing providers, subject to the controls available through those services.
MeterBack will not intentionally disclose customer information to another customer.
For Release 1, customer source files should be retained only for as long as necessary to complete the audit, resolve recovery actions and meet legitimate recordkeeping requirements.
Customer-specific retention periods may be agreed separately.
MeterBack uses access-controlled business systems and aims to minimise the number of locations in which customer data is stored.
Customers must not send authentication secrets.
Customers are responsible for confirming they have authority to provide submitted documents and data to MeterBack.
MeterBack distinguishes proven recoveries, removable spend, renewal opportunities, at-risk commitments, optimisation opportunities and unverified anomalies.
MeterBack does not provide legal, tax or accounting advice.
